I’ll be helping you sift through all your options so that together we can create a magical storybook wedding which will unfold before all the world to see. My team and I will take care of everything for you from your wedding showers, your rehearsal dinner, to your wedding week activities and of course your wedding day. 2) How did he/she propose? (did you know you were engaged when he changed his status on facebook?)

3) What makes you Bride/ Groom 2.0? Tell us how web 2.0 tools have been a part of your love story. (did he twitter you so much at work you couldn't concentrate? Are you sending all your invitations via facebook? Have you had a long distance relationship filled with personalized youtube videos and skype?)

How we choose finalists:

- We will choose the finalists based on who we think would inspire and entertain the world the most. We want brides and grooms that will pull on the emotional heartstrings of the world, couples that have a story so entertaining that people will laugh out loud and get in trouble at work, engaged individuals that are so interesting that people will be twittering and facebooking about them all day

- After the initial cut has been made we’ll let the planet vote on the finalists. We’ll post your stories, pictures, videos up on the blog and people will vote on who will be our choice for Bride and Groom 2.0. You can create facebook groups to convince people to vote for you, you can twitter about it, create youtube videos to increase your following, call everyone you know on Skype and tell them to vote. The only votes that will count are the votes cast through the PlanetPlansWedding website

- There will be 10 finalists- they will all receive a downloadable version of Ciara Daykin’s DIY Wedding Planning System (valued at $247)

- The 1st and 2nd runner’s up will receive a hard cover version of Ciara Daykin’s DIY Wedding Planning System (valued at $325)

- The ultimate Bride and Groom 2.0 will receive the services of Ciara Daykin of Firefly Occasions and her wedding planning team. They will not only plan your wedding but encourage wedding service and product donations plus the team will work to create buzz and online chatter about your weddings turning you into an internet celebrity. (A planning/ publicity package valued at $100,000.00 US)

How to apply:
Fill out the online application form. Fill this out and hit submit and your application will be received for review.

Qualifications:
No purchase necessary
Must be 21 years old or older
Must be a legal resident of the country in which you reside
Must be having a wedding in either 2009 or 2010
Must be willing to pay for wedding using personal finances and not completely dependent upon donations (donations will be sought after by the Planet Plans Wedding team but are not guaranteed)
Must be willing to have your legal names and images publicized during this project and sign a media release waiver
Must be willing to have all wedding guests sign a media release waiver (in order for us to tape the wedding and broadcast it)
Must be willing to have wedding broadcast live via the internet
Must answer a skill testing question
One entry per couple
Prize is non transferrable and must be used by both parties of the submitting couple together
Once a wedding date for Bride and Groom 2.0 is chosen it cannot be changed. If changed then the couple forfeits their prize

We are accepting applications from all over the world from anyone who believes that they would be the ideal candidates to fill the role or Bride and Groom 2.0. As this is a planetary project we are not discriminating whatsoever so every nationality, race, religion and sexual orientation will be accepted and celebrated.

Together we will change the world and prove that by asking for help you can receive it in abundance.

You can be a part of this project simply by applying and getting the world out so that you get the most votes. Just remember that although we are planning your wedding for you and encouraging donations you are responsible for any non donated wedding related expenses in regards to hiring vendors or hosting your wedding at a particular venue.
